Black + White Party Pics

Finally, pics from the Black and White Party. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera so I had to use my iphone. I had so much fun putting the dessert bar together with black licorice and white and dark chocolate goodies. My favorite dessert was the devils food and eggnog mini cupcakes from cupcake jones in Portland. Delish. Guests wore black and white attire and the signature cocktail was a white cosmo served in black martini glasses. Guest took home black and white treats in little favor boxes. I used black and white fabric from IKEA for the tablecloth. For the dessert bar I turned over white ceramic vases and decorated them with black rub-ons from Paper Zone. I'm definitely using those rub-ons in the future, they are pretty easy to put on and add a nice detail, to what would have been a boring white vase. Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. Cheers!

This is a gorgeous party. I love black and white! That fabric from IKEA is Fabulous! The white "pedestals" turned out great. Aren't rub-ons the BEST?!!

Ok, I'm going to have to get some of those rub on-ons. They really spiced up your table. The party looked great, and your phone took really good pics.

I love color parties! This one looks like so much fun, it would make a great New Year's Eve party, with splashes of silver.

I love B&W parties; so classy, so vintage.

Great use of bold prints and various textures! {It looks like it was a lot of fun!}

Courtney-
Yes, they are the best. I definitely will be using more in the future.

Flair Factor-Thanks, believe me I had to weed out a lot of bad ones!

Not Just a Mommy-Love the name of your blog...you are right, add as splash of silver and you have a New Years party.

Courtney- Thanks, it was fun to plan and the hostess said they had a great time.

Beautiful pictures...I've always loved the simplicity and class of the black and white look. And you even have the recipe for B&W cookies!

Great ideas on here, and very user-friendly. Thanks!
