A little San Diego Vacation...

Heading to San Diego tomorrow with the hubby and 4 year twin boys in tow....Our first airplane vacation for the whole family. I can't believe it took us this long to get up the nerve to put them on a plane. Of course we will also be bringing unseasonal cool temps with us, because we literally have the worse vacation weather karma.
I am hoping to recharge the creativity battery and get inspired in San Diego. I'll be back on the 13th to share all the lovely details!

PS. If anyone has great restaurant suggestions that would be kid friendly would love to hear them!

Cheers!

We went to San Diego over spring break. Flew with our 2 and a half year old twins and our 6 year old...from VA! It went better then we expected. Lots of walking up and down the aisles :) Any Mexican restaurant in Old Town will be kid friendly. We also ate an amazing pankcake place for breakfast. Don't remember the name, but it is famous so your hotel will know. We also went over to Coronado one evening which the kids loved. Have fun!

Corvette Diner in Liberty Station. Favorite place to eat as a kid. 50's diner style it also has an arcade. Great food and milkshakes!

Enjoy! Love San Diego as us Phoenix residents flock there to cool off! Def take time to explore Coronado Island. So cute and def make a stop at the Dell. Very nice clean beach and they have a cute ice cream shop on site! Enjoy your getaway!

As a native San Diegan, I suggest you check out Corvette Diner in Point Loma, Old Town Mexican Cafe in Old Town and Hash House a Go Go in Hillcrest. All have yummy food and are kid friendly. For dessert, check out Extraordinary Desserts in Hillcrest or Italy or Uncle Biff's Killer Cookies in Hillcrest. Have fun!

The Point Loma Seafood Market (they have tables on the dock and serve food at the counter, too). Fabulous, fresh seafood, fun to watch the gulls and boats. I go every visit to San Diego!
